What Are the Next Epic Free Games?

Epic Games Store's next free games from 5 to 12 November 2026 are Flotsam and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. The pair was announced with the current rotation, and the claim window runs for one week. Players can claim both games free during that window, and keep them once claimed.

The window matters because Epic free games work on a weekly rotation, and the next pair replaces the current offer at the handover. From 5 November, Flotsam and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms form the free pair for one week, through 12 November 2026. Players who claim during that week add both games to their Epic library. Players who miss the week miss this free claim window for the pair.

What Is Flotsam?

Flotsam is a post-apocalyptic ocean survival city-builder in which players drift through a flooded world. The core task is to build a floating town from salvaged trash found in that flooded world. The description stays at that level, since Epic's listing and reports do not add further confirmed features for this article.

For players new to Epic's weekly rotation, the mechanism is simple: each Thursday a new pair replaces the old one, and anything claimed during its week stays in the library after the window closes. Flotsam's week starts on 5 November, so players who claim it then keep it even if they do not play it for months. Players should still check the Epic listing for full store details before claiming.

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms on Epic

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons and Dragons idle and champion-management game. The base game is free-to-play, and the Epic offer is the game itself. This article does not list a DLC bundle or a price for the Epic offer, since those details are not part of the confirmed offer.

The distinction matters for players who check the store page. Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons and Dragons game built around idle play and champion management. The base game is free-to-play, and the Epic offer is the game. Players should not expect a DLC bundle or a price claim from this article, since neither is part of the confirmed offer for the 5 to 12 November window.

Claim Window, Account, and Library Rules

The claim window opens on 5 November 2026 at the usual Thursday rotation time, about 8 AM PT and 4 PM GMT. Epic's own listing is the final authority if the live time differs from that usual time. Once claimed, both games stay in the player's Epic library, and a free Epic account with 2FA is needed to claim.

Those three rules cover the practical steps. First, claim during the 5 to 12 November 2026 window, at the usual Thursday time of about 8 AM PT and 4 PM GMT. Second, use a free Epic account, with 2FA turned on for claiming. Third, once claimed, Flotsam and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms stay in the Epic library, so players do not need to play them during the claim week to keep them.

What to Check Before You Claim

Before 5 November 2026, players should check the Epic Games Store listing for the live claim time and the two games on offer. The usual Thursday time is about 8 AM PT and 4 PM GMT, but Epic's listing is the final authority. A free Epic account and 2FA should be ready before the window opens.

Checking the listing first avoids a missed claim caused by a time difference. Epic's listing is the final authority for the live claim time, even where the usual Thursday time is given as a guide. Players in the UK should note the 4 PM GMT guide time, and players in the USA should note the 8 AM PT guide time. With a free Epic account and 2FA ready, the claim itself is a short step during the 5 to 12 November window.
