Next Epic Free Games: Sker Ritual and Home Free Oct 22–29

Epic Games Store has revealed its next weekly giveaway: Home – A Unique Horror Adventure and Sker Ritual will be free to claim from October 22 to October 29. The two horror titles replace the current free games — Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Bad Cheese — which leave the store at the October 22 changeover, so this is also your last call to grab those.

What Are the Next Epic Free Games?

Epic has confirmed both titles as the October 22 replacements at its weekly refresh. As always, you just need a free Epic Games Store account — no subscription required — and once claimed, the games are yours to keep.

Home – A Unique Horror Adventure is a 2D pixel-art thriller built around a murder mystery: exploration, investigation, and choices that shape both the story and the ending. It is the quiet, story-driven half of this week's pairing — a good fit if you like narrative horror that leaves the interpretation up to you.

Sker Ritual is the louder half. Developed by Wales Interactive as a spin-off of the British horror game Maid of Sker, it is a round-based co-op survival horror FPS. Play solo or team up with up to four players to survive the supernatural onslaught of the Quiet Ones, collecting Miracle powers, upgrading weapons through the SUPER CHARGE system, taking on bosses, and progressing through Dread Levels. A double dose of seasonal horror, perfectly timed for the spooky season.

When Can You Claim the New Epic Free Games?

The swap happens on Thursday, October 22, when Home and Sker Ritual go free and the current pair rotates out. The new games stay free through October 29, giving you a full week to add both to your library.

If you have not claimed them yet, make sure to grab the current free games, Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Bad Cheese, before October 22 — after that they leave the free rotation for good.

Prime Gaming Also Adds Ad Infinitum on October 22

October 22 is shaping up to be a busy day for free games beyond the Epic Store: Prime Gaming is adding Ad Infinitum to its lineup the same day. Check our Prime Gaming October 2026 freebies roundup for everything claimable this month.

And if you want something free to play right now rather than later, Battlefield 6 and Stranded Deep are free on Steam this weekend.
