What else is new for PS Plus Premium members?

PS Plus Premium subscribers get the deepest value this month, with the Extra lineup plus two classic catalog additions and two new Game Trials. Premium members can try Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II through full Game Trials, letting them play hours of each game before deciding whether to buy.

Is the PS Plus October 2026 lineup worth it?

Yes — October 2026 is one of the strongest PS Plus Extra months of the year, anchored by Mafia: The Old Country and a day-one co-op shooter in Mycopunk. The return of Horizon Forbidden West and a horror-heavy second wave make it well-timed for Halloween-season players.

Sony is also leaning into spooky season alongside the catalog drop: the Back 4 Blood: Tunnels of Terror DLC is free for Plus members October 21–November 4, a World War Z Halloween skin pack lands October 20, a Dead by Daylight community challenge runs October 20–26, and the Until Dawn movie is discounted through Sony Pictures Core from October 28.

This month's Plus lineup lands in a competitive October: Xbox has six free-play games to try this weekend, and the Game Catalog keeps landing recent releases like Mafia: The Old Country. Note that eight games left the catalog on October 20, so the library is being actively refreshed. Regional lineups can differ slightly — check the PlayStation Store on the day to confirm exactly what's live where you are. For more on this month's drops, see the October monthly PS Plus games, the list of 8 PS Plus games that left on October 20, and Xbox's six free-play games for this weekend.
